Rome hosts the 10th World Changers Summit: art, science, and faith united in “Transcendence”
On October 21 and 22, Rome will become the world center for dialogue between ethics, science, and spirituality, hosting the tenth edition of the World Changers Summit, organized by the Institute for Advanced Studies and Cooperation (IASC) under the leadership of its president, Professor Gabriele Pao-Pei Andreoli.
The initiative, internationally recognized for its interdisciplinary and humanistic vision, has for years brought together scientists, entrepreneurs, academics, and institutional leaders to address global challenges related to technological evolution and human progress. The summits conceived by Andreoli, who also serves as President of Ethical AI for the Italian League for Human Rights (LIDU Onlus), have become key platforms for promoting ethical innovation and international cooperation.
The 2025 summit, entitled “Transcendence: Unveiling the Future of Humanity ,” will be divided into two distinct moments:
• on October 21st , at the Princess Halls of Palazzo Brancaccio, the last princely residence in the Capital, in a meeting reserved for international guests;
• October 22nd , in the evocative setting of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in the Vatican. Holy Mass will also be celebrated in the Church of the Artists (Santa Maria in Montesanto), in Piazza del Popolo on October 22nd at 7:00 PM.
“In a world moving at the speed of code,” says Professor Andreoli, “we come together not only to anticipate the future, but to shape it, in a place where innovation meets consciousness, science embraces faith, and humanity imagines its rebirth.” In addition to his academic role, Andreoli also serves as the Vatican Liaison Representative to the Pontifical Academy of Theology and as the Ambassador of the Catholic Church to North Macedonia .
During the two-day event, the Italian premiere of the book “Transcendence: Quantum Computing, AI, and the Future of Humanity,” written by Professor Andreoli and published by La Bussola Edizioni, will be presented. This will consolidate the author’s position as one of Italy’s leading figures in scientific and cultural diplomacy abroad.
A particularly significant moment of the Summit will be the donation by American artist Rob Prior , who has created a work for the occasion dedicated to the message of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV , a symbol of the eternal dialogue between faith, science, and creativity. The painting, which will be presented and blessed in the Vatican, represents a gesture of brotherhood and universal unity, uniting artistic expression with the therapeutic and spiritual value of creation.
The donation will support the research and development program for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), promoted by the IASC Longevity Lab in collaboration with the Red Cross of North Macedonia. A project in which art becomes a medicine for the soul and a concrete tool for healing and human cooperation.
