Dr Tedeschi Biologist PhD and postdoctoral researcher, has Sicilian origins and his professional and scientific upgrade is Tuscan (Pisa, which he considers his second birthplace), he has a very long curriculum in different fields of Biological Science: neurology pharmacology andrology reproductive medicine endocrinology oncology cardiovascular diseases. He is founder and scientific director of GENOBIOMA, the Italian company that uses the reports of genetic polymorphisms from exome (coding DNA) with complex bioinformatics studies from big data of all significant genetic variants aimed at a predictive medicine model, as well as at the improvement of pharmacogenomics and nutrigenomics for advanced and precision medicine.
Over 10 years ago he decided to read whole DNA and not just a few genes or limited panels that give partial information on one or more metabolic pathways. Dr. Tedeschi believes that only the knowledge of the whole DNA can provide the closest information to predictive risk factors. Reading only a frame of DNA you run the risk of reading a book of which you will never know the killer or the future killer or, worse, to interpret not the original instigator but only the material executor (today the clinic is increasingly symptomatic and less and less in search of the etiopathology of the problem).
Dr. Tedeschi uses techniques of interaction between bio-softwares trying to arrive at a single bioinformatic solution for the reading and interpretation of the DNA exome, integrating almost exclusively what one or more critical metabolic pathways use physiologically, thus distinguishing between physiological integrations the natural ones and the xenobiotic ones (drugs). This allows not only a functional variation of DNA, but a physiological functional variation to restore metabolic and therefore critical genomic activities without adverse reactions and above all using only what is necessary and not what sometimes from a less in-depth analysis may seem useful.
He is currently a pioneer in the use and practical application of predictive medicine and pharmacogenomics, particularly in cardiovascular diseases – neurodegenerative disorders and immunity (autoimmunity and allergies) among the main pathologies that afflict people’s daily lives today and that make that dash in the middle between life and death less serenely livable.
