Francesco Favaro

Francesco Favaro’ is the Managing Director and Chairman of Watergy International Group. With a Higher Diploma in Environmental Chemistry and experience as a Chief Engineer, he has a strong background in water treatment and production optimization.

In 2007, he founded Effeffe-Acque, focusing on fluid flow systems technologies, and later established Watergy International Group in 2010 to provide energy-saving, eco-friendly solutions globally. He has been involved in major European projects and is a member of the Architecture, Urbanism and Technology (AUT) at the University of Sharjah and the Associazione Italiana Economisti dell’Energia (AIEE).

Mr. Favaro’ collaborates with universities and has signed agreement with major energy player to develop High Albedo System technologies use in renewable energy production. He has worked on initiatives to reduce the urban heat island effect in the UAE and launched the ISUPPORTALBEDO PROJECT in 2021, aiming to secure carbon credits in the EU-ETS market. He is a recognized speaker at international conferences, including Expo 2020 and COP 27 and COP 28.
