Selene Giupponi

Selene Giupponi is an expert in digital forensics and cybersecurity, with extensive experience in both academic and practical applications. She graduated in Computer Engineering from Università La Sapienza in Rome, while also working on digital forensic investigations during and after her academic studies. Selene further specialized in Computer Forensics & Digital Investigations with the Italian Postal and Communication Police (Ministry of the Interior), completing the program in the same year.

As a consultant and Law Court Witness Expert, Selene specializes in criminal cases where digital forensics plays a critical role. She has shared her knowledge as a speaker and trainer at various Digital Underground and Cybersecurity conferences. Additionally, she has taught at numerous universities, Ministries of Defense, and law enforcement agencies in Italy and abroad.

Currently, Selene is the Managing Director Europe at Resecurity Inc., a leading security company specializing in undercover investigations on the Dark Web.

Selene is also a founder of the European Cyber Security Organization (ECSO) and has been a Council member of Women4Cyber (EU) since December 2020. She is also one of the founding members and Secretary General of the Women4Cyber Italy Chapter.
