“Transcendence” by Prof. Filippo Gregoretti: The First Public Preview of a Live Neuro-AI Performance

Prof. Gregoretti, an accomplished artist, composer, and researcher, in collaboration with Brain.Space, has developed an ongoing experimental research project that explores the co-creative dialogue between human performance, algorithmic intelligence, and neuro-feedback.

This groundbreaking performance interprets brain signals captured during various emotional states, such as meditation, anger, and happiness, through Amrita, Gregoretti’s generative Artificial Artistic Evolving Personality. As the brain signals are processed, they transform into evolving artistic expressions, offering a new way of visualizing inner emotions and experiences.

The project is truly at the intersection of technology and creativity, opening new frontiers in how human experience can be expanded and enriched through these two domains. By bridging the gap between technology and artistic expression, Prof. Gregoretti’s work pushes the limits of what is possible in both the artistic and technological realms.
